Heres and theres.
Sentiment is a funny thing. One moment you are minding your own business, head full of the heres and theres and the tasks of the moment, and then you hear it. Or smell it. Or, somehow in the labyrinth of your mind, a memory emerges from where it is filed away neatly, with no purposeful summoning from you, and sentiment washes over you completely, and you remember it. You loved that moment. You loved that person. You miss it. You miss him.
For a moment you wish more than anything you can relive that time. But you can’t, and it’s back to the heres and theres.

I think that one of these days you’re going to have to find out where you want to go. And then you’ve got to start going there.
